The Global Graduate Development Programme (GGDP) is an intensive 2 year programme designed to introduce bright, ambitious and self-motivated individuals to the operational, commercial and functional areas of the V.Group businesses.

During the programme you will:

  • Complete international assignments in locations such as the UK, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Monaco, Denmark, Singapore and the Philippines to provide on-the-job learning and to fully immerse you in the world of shipping.
  • Gain exposure to the breadth of V.Group as an organisation by spending time in our key business areas including ship management, crew management, marine services and corporate functions.
  • Have the opportunity to develop your personal and leadership skills to allow you to fulfil your potential in the workplace.
  • Spend time on site e.g. vessels, dry docks, shipyards, etc. to obtain ‘first-hand experience’ and understanding of our technical and crew operations.
  • Be given personal development opportunities to help you grow and develop as an individual as well as guidance and support to map out your career preferences and pathways.
  • At the end of the two year programme you will have the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the business.

Application Criteria

To join this exciting programme, we’re looking for recent graduates with a strong academic background which means a Bachelor’s degree or higher (minimum 2:2 Degree classification) in a subject relevant to the maritime services sector.
